I decided to plot rates of diabetes because I also have a chronic illness and so I am very concerned with people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. The main pattern that can be found from the map is that diabetes rates were higher in the southern United States in 2018.

I chose to plot rates of internet use because I am interested in computers, and more specifically in computer access. Knowledge is now very dependent on computer and internet access, and it is important to give all countries access to this knowledge. From the map, you can see that Africa and certain parts of Asia have much lower rates of internet use than the rest of the world.
